May Bird Walk

[Home] [Activities] [Bird Walks] [May Bird Walk]

We had a large group out for our Bird Walk on May 27th in Colonel Sam Smith Park. The weather was beautiful, but migrant birds were scarce. A Wilson’s Warbler right beside the parking lot as we set out was probably the best migrant we found. Our leader, Glenn Coady was able to find a wide range of summer residents. What the birds lacked in rarity, Glenn more than made up for with his wealth of knowledge about them.
